Oh dear - Norfolk County Council want you to think that they are impartial and fair.... unfortunately for them, their Planning Portal tells a different story. Despite the application having received NEITHER a permit to operate OR planning permission to be built, both are being shown as approved. This means that the process has clearly been predetermined and as such MUST be called in by the Secretary of State, Eric Pickles. You can help by emailing him and letting him know how deeply unhappy you are with this undemocratic travesty (Although he might take a few days to reply as several of his mates are about to receive a hiding in the local elections!). Fund Raising

Local campaigner Michael de Whalley launched a High Court bid to win a judicial review of Norfolk County Council’s decision to press ahead with plans to build the incinerator at Saddlebow, despite overwhelming opposition in West Norfolk. This sort of thing isn't cheap and despite the application being refused we continue to raise funds to help cover the legal costs. All donations to the fighting fund, no matter how small, will really be appreciated.
